Whether you do not have a lot of time on your hand or are completely free, there are lots of destinations worth visiting in Lebanon that are 30 mins, 1 hour and 2 hours away from Beirut!

Don’t procrastinate, pick up your bag and hit the road! Always remember that the best trips are the ones that are unplanned.

Here are 10 day trips you can take in Lebanon!

Jbeil, also known as Byblos, is one of the 11 Phoenician cities and towns that still exist today in Lebanon. You can step back in time by visiting the Byblos Castle and the remains of an old temple. Of course, you have to pass by the old souk where you can buy souvenirs and antiques.

    #2 Faqra Bridge

This famous bridge is natural! It’s a delight to whoever sees it! Also, since you’re in Faqra, you might as well pass by the ruins of a Roman temple!

    #3 Moussa Castle

In love with a girl who wanted to marry a guy who owned a palace, Moussa Abdel Karim Al-Maamari built a castle all by himself. The work took 60 years. The castle is full of figurines that form different scenes of life in the village at that time.

Destinations that are 1 hour away from Beirut:

    #4 Baakleen Waterfall
