Winter is especially mesmerizing in Lebanon, as almost all Lebanese villages get covered with snow, while some even offer world-class ski slopes. Just last week, Lebanon got its first snowfall of the season.
Since “winter is coming,” here are some road trips you and your friends should take to enjoy the full glory of the snowy season in Lebanon:
Chabrouh Dam
Located in the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, the Chouwen Lake is one of the best hiking destinations in Lebanon in both summer and winter, where you will get to see the stunning frozen blue lake and panoramic scenery.
Jezzine
Head to Southern Lebanon, and visit the charming village of Jezzine, one of the liveliest villages during the winter season.
It is also an amazing natural destination, featuring a 70m high waterfall, which is considered one of the tallest in the world and one of the largest pine forests in the Mediterranean.
