These Are The 169 Towns Ordered To Lock Down In Lebanon

The number of cases in Lebanon is on the rise and is spiraling out of control, with the country surpassing 50,000 coronavirus cases.

The new health and safety measures announced by the Ministry of Interior on Sunday, October 11th, include closing new towns and villages, in addition to some of the ones that were already shut down.

This makes a total of 169 towns and villages that are currently under lockdown.

Noting that just last week, the ministry shut down 111 towns in Lebanon for an entire week.

This is the list of all the towns that are ordered to lock down in Lebanon:

While schools were set to start on Monday, October 12th, this new decision comes now to shut down all educational institutions in these 169 villages and towns.

In addition, all nightclubs, bars, pubs, and all entertainment venues were ordered to shut down with no exception, as of Monday, all over the country, for a week. Curfew has been also implemented from 1 AM to 6 AM.
