A serious incident occurred on the Jounieh Teleferique north of Beirut, where two cabins collided due to a technical malfunction.
The collision left a group of passengers trapped inside one of the cabins for over an hour. The maintenance team of the ropeway is actively conducting repairs. Meanwhile, the Civil Defense team is present at the scene, aiding in the rescue efforts.
The Lebanese Civil Defense successfully rescued up to 20 people.
