Four rockets were fired from southern Lebanon toward Galilee, in the northern region of Israel.
The rockets were launched from the village of Seddiqine, in the Tyre District of South Lebanon.
Israeli media reported that one of the projectiles had landed in the city of Haifa without causing any casualties.
Israeli warplanes have since been flying heavily over southern Lebanese areas, amid reports that the Israeli military attacked the site from which the rockets were launched.
