5 Of Gibran Khalil Gibran’s Portraits Will Be Turned Into NFTs

Five paintings of Lebanon’s most prominent writer and painter, Gibran Khalil Gibran, will be featured for the first time in the form of Non-fungible tokens (NFT) on the HOOQ platform.

HOOQ is a UK-based company whose mission is to give traditional art and artists new opportunities through NFT technology and blockchain.

The CEO and co-founder of HOOQ, Fakhri Mansour, told Annahar that this initiative comes within the framework of a partnership between HOOQ and the Gibran National Committee.

He explained that HOOQ is a new online platform for the development and release of NFTs and digital assets, and it collaborates with emerging artists to digitize their art and introduce them to the new NFT world.

The paintings will be on display from November 16 until November 19, 2022, before going on sale on November 20, 2022. Additionally, each panel will be available in 150 copies, with a total of 750 copies available for purchase across the five collections.
