The Golden Globe Awards ceremony is an annual event that takes place in California, The United States.
The award recognizes excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. The ceremony, which the awards are presented, is a major part of the film industry’s awards season – which culminates each year in the Academy Awards.
This year, at the 76th Golden Globe Award, Lebanon had a big share of the occasion. Nadine Labaki’s masterpiece “Capernaum” has been the first Lebanese movie to ever been nominated for the Golden Globe Award.
Even though “Capernaum” did not win the award, Labaki had made history by the entry of her mesmerizing picture.
Another Lebanese aspect of the evening was the red carpet Lebanese designed dresses and gowns.
