ABC Lebanon has launched an initiative aimed at supporting local industry and Lebanese products.
The initiative, titled “By the ROOTS,” dedicates a special space for Lebanese designers and talents to showcase their work in the wake of the challenges the local market is facing due to the economic crisis.
The first By the ROOTS section will open on the first floor of ABC Dbayeh on Thursday, July 29, giving more than 100 designers the opportunity to display their products in the area designated for this purpose, ABC Group said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We are pleased to create a unique space that brings together Lebanese talents through art, fashion, home appliances, food, designs, and innovations of all kinds,” the company’s chairman and CEO, Diana Fadel, said in the statement.
Through this initiative, ABC seeks to support designers and craftsmen by displaying their products and works at all ABC locations across Lebanon, Fadel said.
“Today we live in exceptional times that push us to continue showing our love for Lebanon and to strive to preserve the identity of our beloved homeland. We decided to show this by encouraging local industry.”
