Achrafieh 2020 is a non-profit organization that works on reinventing Achrafieh as a cleaner, greener, pedestrian friendly neighborhood with an eco-friendly public transportation system, accessible by the disabled and a zero-tolerance traffic violation policy by the year 2020. It is one of the most trusted environmental and urban transformation groups in the country.
The apolitical environmental driven initiative organizes a one-day event every now and then. The car-free, pet-friendly, all-kinds-of-activities days have gained quite a popularity among thousands of Lebanese, especially the youth.
Food, drinks, art, local merchandise, kids corners, sports, dance (etc) are all taking place in Monot Huvelin Street on Sunday the 26th of march.
It is a awesome opportunity to discover Achrafieh like you have never did before!
It would be interesting to mention that, Achrafieh 2020 drove the Earth Hour initiative in Lebanon.
