Adel Nassar completed his secondary education at Sayedat Al-Jumhour School.
He holds a degree in private law and public law from Saint Joseph University, a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Private Public Law from Paris II—Panthéon-Assas University, and a Master’s degree in Law from Harvard University in the United States.
Nassar began his professional career as a trainee lawyer before becoming a professor of business law at Saint Joseph University. He later worked as a legal advisor at Bank Audi in Paris, then as a lawyer at the Thieffry & Associés law firm in Paris.
He also served as a lawyer and partner at Beirut’s Raphaël & Associés law firm.
He is a member of both the Beirut Bar Association and the Paris Bar Association. Furthermore, he represented Lebanon on the International Chamber of Commerce’s arbitration committee for three years.
Nassar has authored numerous legal publications, focusing on international arbitration, commercial law, and investor rights protection. His research has been featured in esteemed legal journals, including “International Arbitration in Lebanon” in Arbitration International Review, “International Public Policy and Arbitration” in the Swiss Arbitration Bulletin, and “Shareholder Rights and Activities” in Chambers Global Practice Guide.
