The global financial services company American Express (AMEX) has recently announced its commitment to support relief efforts in blast-struck

AMEX is donating $100,000 to the , through the American Red Cross, and will help provide urgent supplies such as food, shelter, and medical care.

The explosion has killed nearly 200 people and displaced thousands of families. Victims hurt during the blast are still suffering from serious injuries; most of them are still in hospitals.

Companies like Facebook, Google, P&G, and more have pledged hundreds of thousands of dollars to support recover from the explosion that shattered the capital and destroyed historic neighborhoods.
