The Ministers present affirmed that Lebanon is always able to emerge stronger after every crisis and that the Executive Council looks forward to supporting the Lebanese people through Arab partnership.

“We need the Arabs to stand by us and we look forward to your meeting in order to awaken Lebanon from the tragic situation we are living in,” President Aoun told the members.

He also stressed the importance of the Arabs’ interest in the issue of returning the Syrian refugees to their home country in accordance with the principle of joint responsibility and burden-lifting.
