For the fifth consecutive year, the Ministry of Culture is organizing for the public an evening of free museum-hopping to over a dozen locations in the country. The fifth edition of La Nuit des Musées thrives to increase cultural awareness and encourage Lebanese to embrace the rich heritage of their country.
La Nuit des Musées takes place on April 6th. The magical night entails transportation to, and free admittance into, 13 of our famous and lesser-known museums. For those interested, buses will be made available within Beirut and from Saida and Tripoli.
The itinerary includes an exciting route through the country, with several stops at unique museums along the way. History buffs, geologists, and art lovers alike will all have a chance to experience Lebanon's rich collections free-of-charge.
The museums included in the program are:
