The American University of Beirut put a bed on campus for students to take naps right next to a sign that says “Feeling sleepy? Have a nap.” It all started with a tweet that suggested to open a nap club for students.

AUB responded to the tweet right away.

Next thing you know, AUB made the students’ dream come true by placing a bed in West Hall. They are taking turns to nap.

Hopefully, universities in Lebanon will start taking into consideration the importance of getting a good amount of sleep which helps students be more productive. Some universities abroad, such as the University of Michigan, have napping stations where students can take a short nap!
