The American University of Beirut (AUB) was just ranked among the top 50 universities worldwide for producing the most employable graduates, according to the QS Graduate Employability Rankings for 2019.
AUB tops the chart in the MENA region for the third year in a row, and it now ranks 45th worldwide. It ranked 41st in 2018 and 81-90 in 2017.
It’s the only university in the region to make it to the top 50. King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia ranks 251-300 while the American University in Dubai ranks 301-500.
QS takes into consideration many criteria to produce these rankings. AUB scored particularly well in graduate employment rate, alumni outcomes, and employer-student connections.
The Graduate Employability Rankings from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) provides a unique tool for students to compare universities regarding graduate employability outcomes. QS World University Rankings is viewed as one of the three most popular higher education institution rankings in the world.
