The American University of Science and Technology (AUST) won a grant from IRALeb to develop an Electromechanical Design of an Electric Discharge Machine (EDM).
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a non-traditional technique that uses thermal energy instead of mechanical force to remove material from a workpiece.
This project will be worked on in collaboration with AUST students Mohamad Ballouz and Hussein Jammal, under the supervision of professors.

Additionally, two USJ students Lynn Doughane and Albert Obeid received the 3rd prize of the 2022 Pierre-Péladeau Scholarship for their development of a technology that effectively relieves menstrual pain affecting the lifestyle of active women.
