A 40-year-old woman (N.C.) was shot to death by gunmen at the southern entrance of Baalbek city, the National News Agency reported on Tuesday. On Monday evening, a man unleashed his ferocious Pitbull dog on football fans blocking the road in celebration of Brazil’s win over Switzerland. The incident occurred near the army checkpoint in the Al Sfeir area in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs. The Depositors’ Outcry Association shared on Tuesday a video showing an elderly depositor protesting inside Bank Audi, Salim Salam branch, in Beirut. The 90-year-old Edro Khodor staged a sit-in demanding access to her deposit of $20,000. Immediately after staging the sit-in, negotiations took place between Bank Audi and the depositor. However, after the bank presented an offer that did not satisfy Mrs. Khodor, she demanded support from other depositors to go to the bank and protest in support of her case.
