Avocados have a lot of health benefits. They are loaded with potassium, fiber, and antioxidants. Avocados also contain folate which is extremely important for a healthy pregnancy.

These creamy green fruits are getting so popular that people in New Zealand have to wait to buy an avocado tree. Produce sellers are reporting extremely long waiting lists, according to a source.

Some people even resorted to crime to get their hands on avocados. For years, avocado growers in New Zealand have been reporting fruits being stolen from their orchards.

The thieves are selling their goods to fruit stands. Black markets have even sprung up! The reason behind this crime wave is that avocados are in short supply and the demand is increasing.
