Georges Hobeika broke new ground by showcasing his Spring-Summer 2024 collection at Lebanon’s iconic Baalbek Citadel. Streamed online during Paris Fashion Week, the show was a hit.
Inspired by Aphrodite and Sandro Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus,” the collection is a fusion of romance and art. It captures the essence of love, beauty, and elegance.
The choice of Baalbek, a UNESCO World Heritage site, celebrates Lebanese heritage. It’s the first fashion show to grace this ancient architectural marvel.
The event was more than just fashion; it was a statement. Done in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, it aims to spotlight Lebanon’s rich cultural assets.
More so, a slice of the proceeds will support the Children’s Cancer Center in Lebanon.
In a nutshell, Georges Hobeika’s show at Baalbek Citadel wasn’t just about clothes. It was about blending fashion, history, and social responsibility into one unforgettable event.
