Lebanon men’s basketball team will begin its FIBA Asia Cup 2022 matches, which will be hosted by Indonesia between July 12th and July 24th.
Lebanon will play its first group D match with its Philippine counterpart on Wednesday, July 13th.
The Lebanese basketball team will then face its New Zealand counterpart on July 15th and the Indian team on July 17th for the 1st round of the FIBA Asia Cup 2022.
The continental championship, which kicks off on July 12th, will conclude its 1st round on July 17th, with the four teams qualifying for the quarter-finals, which will be held on July 20 and July 21.
The semi-finals are scheduled for July 23rd and the finals for July 24th.
16 teams divided into 4 groups will participate in the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 as follows:
- Group A: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Australia, and Indonesia.
- Group B: China Taipei, China, South Korea, and Bahrain.
- Group C: Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Syria.
- Group D: Lebanon, New Zealand, Philippines, and India.
