Beirut Airport Is Not Taking Any Precautionary Action Over Monkeypox

Beirut Airport

Head of Beirut International Airport Fadi El-Hassan stated that the airport has not received any specific procedures from the Ministry of Health regarding Monkeypox.

El-Hassan explained that such procedures are issued by the Ministry to institutions, and they then abide by them, however, no such notice came this time.

He went on to say that he’s been “hearing” that Monkeypox is not epidemiological like Corona and hence won’t affect the passengers in any way.

He concluded that Beirut International Airport has lifted COVID-related restrictions just like other world airports that have not taken cautionary procedures either.
