Beirut Marathon Is Organizing Free Training Program Across Lebanon For First-Time Runners

In partnership with UNESCO, the Beirut Marathon Association will be organizing a training program, free of charge, for about 5 months.

The “542 Training Program” will help first-time runners who would like to train and run in the 42.195 km marathon (age 18+), 21.1 km half marathon (age 16+), and the 10 km race (age 14+).

The trainees will be then able to complete their very first Marathon on November 13, 2022.

Various teams will be available around Lebanon, including in Beirut, Denniyeh, Dbayeh, Rashaya, Sil El Fil, Tabarja, Broummana, Tyre, Zahle, Jeb Jennine, Tripoli, Jounieh, Fanar, Hasbaya, Miziara, Jal el Dib, Akkar, Batroun, Saida, Nabatieh, and Aley.

The training will be either daily or a few days per week.
