Beirut Marathon took place today! Aside from being a national sports event, the marathon this year was also a demonstration that supported the resigned Prime Minister Saad Hariri. The roads were dotted with banners that say “Waiting for You” and “Running for You.” Slogans and pictures of Hariri were printed on t-shirts, caps, and water bottles.
