Beirut Municipality to name a street after PM Saad Hariri

The Council of Beirut’s Municipality announced on Thursday that it would name a street after the Prime Minister Saad Hariri. Streets in Beirut are named after countries, notable people, and politicians. Hariri has received a lot of support from the Lebanese people ever since he announced his resignation. Naming a street after him might be another sign of support.

Update on Hariri’s Crisis

Today morning, the Prime Minister Saad Hariri arrived in Paris accompanied by his wife, Lara. It is reported that his daughter Loulwa and his younger son Abdulaziz stayed in Riyadh. His older son Houssam arrived in Paris yesterday. Upon his arrival, Hariri called the President Michel Aoun and the Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri and announced that he would participate in the celebration of the Independence Day and the military parade. Saad Hariri will meet the French President Emmanuel Macron in the Élysée Palace today.
