The Municipality of Beirut stated that actions will be taken to equip and improve Beirut’s fire brigade.
These actions include providing 24/7 electricity to help ease their workload and decrease their operational expenses.
A UNDP envoy visited the fire brigade in Karantina, Beirut, where they were received by governor Marwan Abboud and the Captain of the brigade to discuss the installations of Solar system panels and water heaters.
The panels were installed and promises were made to keep an open communication for more future collaborations that would benefit the capital.
