As part of its effort in taking action against corruption and waste of public money, the General Directorate of State Security just arrested an employee of the Beirut Port.

Information confirmed that the employee had exempted some users from paying port fees in exchange for financial bribes.

Based on this information, the General Directorate of state security brought the employee, interrogated him, and searched his house.
