Best Falafel Award in Australia goes to a Lebanese restaurant

Menulog is an online food ordering company in Australia and New Zealand. Every year, Menulog hosts its Summer Restaurant Awards and names the best Australian restaurants based on popularity and customer review. A Lebanese restaurant in Lakemba, New South Wales named

Jasmins

won the Best Falafel Award. The restaurant uses a 40-year-old secret recipe.

The falafels were

described

as “juicy, with just the right amount of crunch.” Abdul Latif Gazal, the owner of the restaurant, arrived in Australia when he was young. Jasmins is now operated by his sons. The other categories are Best Ribs and Grill, Best Wings, Best Tiramisu, Best Taco, Best Schnitzel, and Best Mee Goreng. Congratulations!
