The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden refuses to hand Lebanon over to Iran, according to a political analysis published in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Joumhouria.

Citing improved relations between the United States and both Saudi Arabia and Israel, the source indicated that the U.S. will start responding to its allies’ concerns over Iranian activities in the Middle East and Yemen arenas.

Political observers believe that a major confrontation has just begun between the allies and Iran over power in the fertile crescent area. “Biden has made up his mind in Lebanon: the influence in it is not for Iran!” the source stated.

Similarly, during a recent cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stated that Lebanese people were paying the price of an Iranian takeover of their country.

“Lebanon is on the verge of collapse, like all countries that Iran takes over, and this time, the citizens of Lebanon are paying the price,” he said.

He added that his government was monitoring the situation in Lebanon and “will continue to be prepared” alongside the Defense Ministry. Israel has already expressed its readiness for war in case of an attack by Iran‘s proxy in Lebanon, Hezbollah.
