During the event, a friendly football match will take place. Also, it has been

announced

that the world’s biggest pink ribbon will be made of 8,000 pink footballs. In fact, this ribbon is the international symbol of breast cancer awareness. The Ministry of Public Health is aiming at making it a world

record

. Hopefully, the pink ribbon will enter the “World Record Academy”. This record is the first of its kind. Most importantly, the campaign will encourage women to undergo mammography tests in 130 hospitals and medical centers. According to the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation (

LBCF

), breast cancer constitutes 35% of all the cancers that affect women in Lebanon. Conducting self-examinations and attending checkups on a regular basis helps to detect cancer early. In fact, early detections increase the chances of survival.
