Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve is
one of the fascinating nature reserves in Lebanon
. It’s a must-visit place in spring and summer because the
comprises adventures and history. Thanks to ten different trails, it is possible to hike nearly a full loop around the reserve which aims at protecting its biodiversity of 750 species of flowers and trees and 137 bird species. Jabal Moussa is also rich in cultural and historic sites such as Roman stairs, an abandoned Ottoman settlement, an olive press, a Byzantine Church, and many more interesting sites.
