Byblos Bank’s Head of Fraud Risk Committee Was Just Found Murdered In Parking Garage

On June 4th, 2020, a man was found dead in the parking garage of his own home in Hazmieh, Lebanon. He was identified as Antoine Dagher, Group Ethics and Fraud Risk Manager at Byblos Bank.

According to the NNA, he was hit in the head with a sharp tool that fractured his skull. Dagher, who was in his 60s, died instantly, reported The Daily Star.

Different local news sources have varying information about how he was found.

According to LBCI News, his body was found by his wife who was planning to leave the house. The Daily Star who spoke with a security source says a neighbor found him dead in a pool of his own blood.

According to his wife, Dagher left the house at 7:30 a.m. as usual and went down to the parking garage to take his car and go to work. The killer had other plans.

The motive of the murder is still unknown. An investigation has been launched to find the killer.
