Last year, Byblos Bank released an
about Lebanon to promote their home and land loan service for expats. Byblos Bank was awarded seven ingots, including two golds, at the 2017 Midas Awards for The World’s Best Financial Advertising held in New York. It’s a first for Lebanon! The Expatriate Housing Loan campaign won ingots in the following categories:
- Direction (gold)
- New product/ service launch (gold)
- Art direction (silver)
- Cinematography (silver)
- Integrated (Mixed Media) (silver)
- Social media (silver)
- Music: Original Content or Integration (bronze)
Byblos Bank’s Head of Group Communication Department Nada Tawil expressed how proud she is of the campaign’s success. “We can’t think of a better way to strengthen the bonds between Lebanese expatriates and their home country, a mission that Byblos Bank seeks to achieve through many of its products and services,” she said. The bank’s advertising agency, Fp7/MENA, picked the award. This company is the most awarded one in the region. The Midas Awards is the only awards show that recognizes excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale.
