Everyone’s favorite local coffee house, Café Younes, has opened a new location in Hamra and people can finally begin to enjoy it now that the weather is starting to warm up.
Not long ago, the decades-old coffee roaster relocated from its old Hamra location to a brand new one in another part of Hamra that’s “bigger and greener” than ever.
But due to continuous lockdown and strict COVID-19 restrictions, not many have been able to enjoy the new venue – until recently!
Café Younes’ set up its new location in a vintage 1950s Hamra house late last year. It features a stunning hidden garden right in the heart of Beirut where visitors can now bask in the warm sunshine of the outdoor setting.
It’s one of The961’s picks of calm coffee places that are ideal for remote work, studying, reading a book, or meeting with a friend.
That being said, Café Younes also has branches in Sodeco, Ashrafieh, Aley, the Beirut Digital District, Badaro, and more. It has also taken its specialty coffee out to Dubai with a new name, Black Coffee.
