Once again, a Lebanese makes the headlines with Chef Charbel Hayek winning on Wednesday the competition of the 5th season of Top Chef on MBC.
The 24 years old Lebanese chef has topped the scores despite being the youngest participating member.
Throughout the episode, Chef Hayek demonstrated great talent and served tasty dishes that amazed the judges.
He competed against 15 other chefs throughout the season, reaching the final with one other contestant to then earn the top title.
Top Chef is a televised contest between 16 chefs from different regional countries, who compete in culinary challenges under the supervision of prominent chefs and international guests.
Charbel Hayek was not the only Lebanese to compete in the 5th season of Top Chef.
Chef Patrick Merheb was also a contestant in the competition that resulted in Chef Charbel Hayek winning the title.
