Security forces caught a 40-year-old man who later confessed to molesting minors in Lebanon, local media reported.
Recently, a citizen has filed a complaint about an unknown individual communicating via Instagram with his daughter, who suffers from mental disability, and blackmailing her with inappropriate pictures of herself that she had sent him.
Law enforcement personnel, posing as the 15-year-old girl, convinced the man, identified as “A.A.”, of coming to the Baakline area, thinking that he would be meeting the girl. Instead, he was lured into an ambush and arrested.

His phone was found to contain indecent pictures and videos, mostly of minor girls. Upon his interrogation, the 40-year-old admitted to contacting the aforementioned girl via an online messenger.
He also admitted to asking her to take and send him nude pictures of herself, as well as of having performed sexual intercourse with other minors and secretly taking sexual pictures and videos of them, including a video showing his molestation of a minor.
However, he later denied what was attributed to him and claimed that his previous two statements were incorrect. Notably, the plaintiff (the 15-year-old girl’s father) has since revoked his personal right in the legal proceedings, according to Lebanon24.
