The Ministry of Public Health announced 8 new cholera cases in the past 24 hours, raising the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 26 in the northern regions, and one death was recorded.
The rising number prompted the Ministry of Health to start distributing awareness leaflets about the epidemic, in addition to mobilizing hospitals with their medical staff to confront the disease in the event of its spread.
