    These 15 Cities Are Bigger Than Lebanon

    Lebanon, with its 10,452 square kilometers is not the biggest country of all, we know that. It’s actually among the smallest in the world. There are even cities, including municipalities/localities, that are bigger than Lebanon, in land size.

    #1 Nagqu, China – 450,537 km2

    Nagqu is a prefecture-level city in the north of the Autonomous Region of Tibet in China. 

    #2 Hulumbuir, China – 263,953 km2

    Hulumbuir is a region governed as a prefecture-level city in northeastern Inner Mongolia, China.

    The city-borough of Sitka is located in the southeast portion of the U.S. state of Alaska. Sitka was formerly known for its Russian name Novo-Arkhangelsk or New Archangel.

    The 16th largest on the world’s list, Juneau in Alaska (USA) is smaller than Lebanon. It has an area of 8,428 km2 and is inhabited by 31,974 people.
