On the evening of October 1, 2023, at precisely 20:15, Civil Defense teams sprang into action in Jounieh, Keserwan.
Their mission was to assist locals who found themselves trapped in two cars due to severe flooding from torrential rains.
The situation was dire, with water levels rising rapidly around the stranded vehicles.
Nevertheless, the Civil Defense members worked efficiently to tow both cars to safety. After ensuring that all occupants were unharmed, the teams aided them in resuming their journey safely.
