An anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon and landed in the town of Metula in northern Israel, injuring three individuals.
The Ziv Medical Center in Safed confirmed the injuries but did not specify if the victims were civilians or soldiers.
In response, Israel launched artillery fire and white phosphorus into southern Lebanon.
Earlier, Israeli forces claimed to have neutralized four militants attempting to plant explosives on the border wall.
