The Ministry of Public Health announced 2,397 new cases of Covid-19 and two deaths, during the past 24 hours.
This number has started to get significantly higher from late March due to several factors.
Accordingly, the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Abiad, has stated earlier that Lebanon won’t return to lockdowns to face the new wave as long as the situation in hospitals is under control.
However, more restrictive measures might be implemented, he said.
