Security forces in Lebanon arrested a notorious criminal wanted for prosecution in relation to 160 crimes.
The Internal Security Forces (ISF) said in a statement on Monday that after consistent follow-up by the operational units to combat various kinds of crimes, it was able to locate one of the most dangerous individuals wanted by the judiciary in Lebanon.
The location and apprehension of Palestinian national “H.Y.,” nicknamed “Bulbul,” was the result of investigations conducted by the ISF’s Information Branch, the statement said.
H.Y. is wanted by the judiciary for his involvement in 160 crimes related to drugs, weapons, theft, money laundering, as well as the attempted murder of soldiers.
The 49-year-old was arrested in a joint operation between the Information Branch and the ISF’s platoon in the town of Chehime – where he was located – in the Chouf District, Mount Lebanon.
He was then transferred to the competent authority to carry out the legal requirements against him.
