Judge Mahmoud Makkieh, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, reminded the ministers that “the clock must be delayed by one hour, starting from the midnight of 30-31/10/2021.”

It is known that in Lebanon the clock is delayed on the midnight of the last Saturday of the month of October of every year. “This date is the end of the work in the summertime,” Makkieh noted.

He added that this is “in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. (5) dated 8/20/1998, to advance the local time by one hour during the summer, starting from midnight of the last Sunday of March until midnight of the last Saturday of October of each year.”

Accordingly, today October 30 at midnight, Lebanon reverses its watches by an hour.
