This Lebanese-American Sculptor is Dazzling the World with His "Living Bronze"

You will be dazzled as well when you see his creations now! Victor Issa is one of the most well-known sculptors in the United States!

Victor Issa, a Lebanese-American sculptor who currently resides in the United States, is one of the most well-known sculptors in the country. He is one of very few artists today who possess "the rare craft and ability to transform cold, hard metal into forms that resemble the softness of skin, appearing as if they could breathe and move with such dynamic realism."

Issa is well-known for his ability to capture the vitality of the human figure. His famous works of religious figures, celebrities, angels, children, and fairies can be seen in exhibitions all around the world.

Issa enrolled in college in the United States with an original aspiration to become a Musician, but his Academic Advisor at the time advised him to switch to art as a major. And the rest is history!

After almost six years of studies, Issa graduated with a B.A. in Art and minor in Classical Music. With his decision to actively pursue art as a full-time career, he moved from Nebraska to Colorado where his career took off.

Highly renown and active within the community of Fine Arts in the United States and around the world, Issa is the co-founder and President of the "Loveland Sculpture Invitational Show & Sale," the largest sculpture exhibition in the United States. His exhibition was recently ranked as one of the top 100 Fine Art Shows in the United States by Sunshine Artists Magazine.

Issa also owns the Victor Issa Studios, nestled in Loveland, Colorado; an art colony famed as the "sculpture capital of America." He shares this creative space with multiple internationally recognized sculptors, including Kent Ulberg, George Lundeen, Fritz White, and many more.

The process “creating living bronze” is carried out by the artist himself along with a staff of talented artisans who assist in the detailed and meticulous process of translating a miniature study, created by Issa, into a clay model in final size that is then perfected by the artist.

Hundreds and often thousands of hours are involved in the creation of a sculpture. If you are ever traveling to that part of the world, witnessing something as magnificent as "Creating Living Bronze" is a sight you wouldn't want to miss.
