The director and co-founder of Dina Foods, Suheil Haddad, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the West London Business Awards 2022 that took place on February 10th.

The CEO of West London Business, Andrew Dakers, commented that “the Awards judges recognized that Suheil stood out for a brilliant career that has seen a leader emerge, who has coupled nurturing a business from the ground up to the top of its field with investment in community, philanthropy, and most recently the environment.”

Haddad was recognized for his vision in building Dina Foods into an international supplier of authentic Mediterranean foods and Europe’s leading baklawa manufacturer.

The family business was launched as a bakery in 1992, by the Haddad family, aiming to spread Lebanese cuisine to Europe, by making flatbreads and Lebanese food across the UK and in 18 European countries.

Products of Dina Foods can be found in restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, airlines, and hotels across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe.

The Lebanese food chain now operates from three factory spaces in London and employs more than 160 people.

Dina Foods was also nominated as Food and Drink Business of the Year; Green ‘Race to Zero’ Business of the Year, and Park Royal Business of the Year in the Awards, and as a finalist for the ‘bakery manufacturer’ award for the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards.
