Disney just announced that Disney Plus will be available in Lebanon along with other countries in the Middle East region this coming summer.
The worldwide popular streaming platform will launch in 42 countries and 11 new territories.
The Middle East countries that will start enjoying Disney+ as of this summer, in addition to Lebanon, are Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
The streaming platform will also launch in Europe Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, and more.
Disney Plus launched in 2019 in the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands and has millions of subscribers around the world.
It streams movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and General Entertainment from Star, a top-level section within the Disney+ interface that launched in 2021.
Star will also be available in the MENA region.
The launching date for Disney Plus in the MENA and Europe is still to be announced, and more details will be known by summer.
Previously, people in Lebanon and the Middle East could watch Disney Plus movies and shows through OSN.
