After a careful monitoring and control process, the Information Division patrols in the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces (ISF) arrested the Lebanese national A.B. who was selling drugs in the region of Jounieh.
In the context of the daily follow-up carried out by the Information Division of the ISF in various Lebanese regions, and after this division had previously managed to arrest a drug trafficking network, it reached the identification of A.B. who had gone into hiding.
In a statement following the arrest, the ISF disclosed that the A.B (born in 2000) was trafficking drugs on Jounieh highway in a black Kia Picanto.
According to the statement, A.B. was caught with:
- A plastic box containing marijuana weighs about 57.5 g.
- A plastic tool used in drug abuse and narcotic pills.
- Cigarette roll book, cell phone, $159 and 3,840,000 LBP.
During his interrogation, the suspect confessed to what was attributed to him in terms of his involvement with the rest of the arrested network in distributing drugs on the Jounieh highway, aboard the aforementioned car.
The legal requirement was carried out against him, and he was placed with the seized items under the competent reference on the basis of a judicial reference.
