Egyptian Ambassador To Lebanon Promised Pleasant Surprises In The Near Future

On Saturday, July 23rd, the ambassador of Egypt to Lebanon, Yasser Alawi, held a gathering in his house to celebrate his country’s national day.

Several ministers and MPs from the current Lebanese caretaker government attended the gathering, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Bou Habib representing president Michel Aoun, Minister of Health Firas Abiad representing Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and MP Fadi Alame representing Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri.

In the gathering, Alawi stated that the upcoming months will hold good surprises for Lebanon in the power and medicine sectors. He added that multiple projects are being finalized and that Egypt will be part of any plan that helps Lebanon’s economy prosper.

He concluded his statement by promising the Lebanese people that Tripoli’s port is being developed and that Lebanon will be supplied with Egyptian gas to solve the power issue.
