Egypt Wants To Assist Lebanon In Regenerating Means Of Production

Egypt affirms to aid Lebanon’s deteriorating economy by emphasizing and supporting the importance of regenerating the country’s means of production.

The Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, Nivine El-Kabbag, met with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, where she confirmed that Lebanon has the full support of Egypt “in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives.”

El-Kabbag collaborated with the delegation of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers during her three-day trip to Beirut, which ended on Sunday.

She underlined to President Michel Aoun the unwavering commitment of her country to supporting the Lebanese people through this collaboration.

This support in particular will come in the form of social safety nets and protection, as well as regenerating Lebanon’s means of production.

According to the Egyptian minister, Lebanon may prosper and strengthen its economy in the future since there is wealth to invest in.

Since the financial crisis began in 2019, Egypt has aided Lebanon in numerous ways, including with medical aid, gas exports, and food shortages.
