As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, Muslims who have tired out from their month-long fasting, are finally looking forward to celebrating Eid el-Fitr.

After thirty days of living simply and remembering to be mindful of others, Eid el-Fitr is a celebration of the little things and it wouldn’t be right without the following:

#1 Morning Breakfast

After a whole month of waking up to no breakfast and spending the day on an empty stomach, you finally get to celebrate by indulging in your favorite morning meal. Many people opt to celebrate Eid el-Fitr mornings with this tradition: knefeh for breakfast!

#2 New Outfit

Before Eid, it is traditional to buy something new to wear – whether it’s a whole new outfit, a new pajama, or simply just new socks. Who doesn’t love socks?

#3 Eid Photos

Eid is not Eid without the good old Eid selfies and family photos that will flood your social media feeds.
