On Monday, May 29th, the polls were closed for the elections to the Council of the Medical Syndicate in Lebanon, and the number of voters reached 2,417 out of about 9,000 doctors who are eligible to vote.
The list “My Syndicate is My Immunity” backed by the duo of Amal Movement – Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) swept the council’s representation, winning 15 seats, and the position of the Head of the Syndicate, which was won by Dr. Youssef Bakhash.
